Все-таки не зря Чайковский написал такую грациозную и немного игривую партию скрипки в "Спящей красавице" в показанном видео. А у балерины этого вообще нет. Музыка отдельно, движения балерины отдельно, а образа юной принцессы вообще не чувствуется. Мы наблюдаем просто набор движений под музыку. Простите.

I am shocked that you didn’t -not just include - but did not include at the top of the list Svetlana Zakharova. She is the prima ballerina assoluta of all the dancers. I see Osipova as second and perhaps succeeding Svetlana in time. Not that the the ladies you have included are not good. They are in fact very good, with some excellent in technique. But I noticed certain flaws like dancing with a “deadpan” expression. Dancers must be actors as well and look like they at least enjoy the dance. Included should be what they do with their arms and hands, providing a little bit of style to the dance. Overtime, perhaps the dancers here will mature to a level of Svetlana Zakharova, but not yet.

I love how his wife Claire gave him one of the bigger bouquets of flowers.

All are wonderful. (I do have reservations about the Onegin, even though it's heart-wrenching, because it's so over the top when compared to the original Pushkin's irony and even the Tchaikovsky opera's passion.) I would love to see there PDD from Symphony in C added.

My favorites are the most musical: they have lovely port de bras and the ability to stretch time. Among many, I will single out Fogo, Nuñez, and Cojocaru.

Marianela Nuñez is technique, sense and sensibility.

When ol’ Ivan Vasiliev came bursting out onto stage you couldn’t help yourself from going “ oh myGod; poar!” He’s such an explosive dancer and of course that scene in particular shows off all these talents. I also loved Leonid Sarafaov’s incredible lightness and Roberto Bolle’s drop dead elegance and all round gorgeousness. He is so much taller than all the others so it’s quite a bit harder for him. Alban Lendorf’s exquisite dreamlike litheness. 🎉 He was a light as a feather. The German dancer Friedmann Vogel nailed it, he made it all look easy and had a very winning smile. Some of the dancers forget to connect with the audience, but he didn’t. How the hell Vladimir Shklyarov pulled off those incredible technical steps. I’ll never know . 18 years of training I guess !! They are ALL fabulous dancers, the lot of them. Thanks for posting. It’s interesting seeing all the different strengths the dancers have in the different choreographic settings. I too love Kim Kin and McCrae.
